Puz2NYT
What is Puz2NYT?
- If you've ever submitted a crossword to the New York Times, you know that the
worst part is creating a document that conforms to the
standards outlined here. Well, Puz2NYT can create a ready-made document you
can submit to Will Shortz automatically.
How do I use it?
- Create a .puz file (binary Across Lite) from your crossword. In the copyright field,
you'll need to put your name, postal address and e-mail address. More details are found
in Puz2NYT's README file.
How do I open PostScript files?
- Yes, the output of Puz2NYT is a PostScript file, which not all PCs can open (all Macs can,
though). If you have a PC that can't open PostScript files, you can download
this free software
to take care of that for you.
